Instead I'm sitting here doing last-minute proofreading on articles for this week's paper. And praying I don't get jelly bean goo all over the papers. Although I really shouldn't be snacking. Linali packed me a lunch full of nutrition and deliciousness this morning~

Aaaahhhh, it is so good to be back from my vacation! I had a good time in San Diego. You know what I did? Nothing. It was beautiful. Well. Not actually nothing, of course. I'm not as much of a layabout as some people would have you believe. I caught up on my recreational reading. I went to the zoo; that took a few days, actually. Didn't go to the beach, but is that anything of a surprise? The sight of the sun setting over the Pacific is breathtaking, I highly recommend that you all make a point of seeing it at some point in your lives.

LINALI, YOU KNOW THAT NII-SAN LOVES YOU! DID I MAKE YOU FEEL NEGLECTED~?! MY HEART WILTS AT THE VERY IDEA!

Ahem. I also made a point of ducking into a few music stores, and lo and behold, I have new CDs for my collection!!! I picked this one up for the band's name (Gatsbys American Dream, sigh, my inner American Lit. geek had a gigglefit when I saw it), and I'm glad I did. They've got a song involving robots~ Sadly, the ones in question are evil, and resemble misanthropic tripods.

((Back! As soon as I'm not braindead from work, I'm going to compile a list of presents that he brought back for everyone. Because you know he just WOULD. And my Komui-muse has decided he's a not-so-closet music geek; his iPod tracklist could take out a small country.

((Ahahahaha~ Just to have art imitating life, pretend that Komui managed to peel himself away from the office long enough to take a vacation for the next week, okay? I'll be back sometime next weekend, provided that work doesn't kill me once I get back.))
